Speedway In Lights & Ice Rink close season

Thank You from SCCThe 2007-08 season of Speedway In Lights and the Ice Rink at Bristol Motor Speedway has ended.  On behalf of everyone here at Bristol Motor Speedway and Speedway Children’s Charities, we offer up a tremendous thank you to all who had a hand in making our holiday events successful.

Most importantly, your visits throughout the holidays will help provide funds for a variety of children’s non-profit agencies throughout the Tri-Cities region via the Bristol Chapter of Speedway Children’s Charities.

Again, we thank you for your support.  And mark your calendars as the 2008-09 edition of Speedway In Lights will open on Friday, November 21, 2008.

Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Wow!  What a wonderful season of Speedway In Lights!  We closed out the 11th year of Speedway In Lights Powered by TVA on Saturday night, as thousands were on hand for our fireworks finale.

As we look back on what was an awesome eight-week event run, we want to thank everyone who had a hand in helping make it such a success.  But most importantly, we want to thank to the thousands of individuals and families who visited Speedway In Lights.

We sincerely hope that the event helped to make your holidays even more special.  Now it’s time to take down the lights and get ready for plenty of “racin’ the way it ought’a be” and our March 14-16 NASCAR race weekend.

Remember, the Ice Rink at Bristol Motor Speedway remains open until the 13th of January.  So come on out to BMS for some ice skating fun.

Thank You PepsiA big thank you goes out to our friends from Pepsi, who gave everyone a treat on January 1, at Speedway In Lights.  Pepsi, which recently signed on as the Official Carbonated Beverage of Bristol Motor Speedway, celebrated the first day of their new BMS partnership by paying for every single vehicle that visited Speedway In Lights on New Year’s Day.

In addition to a free trip through the lights, SIL visitors received a Pepsi t-shirt and a can of Diet Pepsi Max.

As a reminder, the 11th season of Speedway In Lights comes to a close on Saturday, January 5th, complete with a fireworks show to wrap up the event.

BMS still offering up holiday fun

Speedway In LightsChristmas may be over (and we hope you had a merry one!), however there is still plenty of holiday fun to be had at Bristol Motor Speedway.

Speedway In Lights Powered by TVA continues its 11th season through January 5th.  And while you may have opened up all your presents, BMS still has one more gift for you.  Visit Speedway In Lights on January 1 to find out what it is (READ MORE HERE).

In addition to the spectacular holiday lights show, The Ice Rink at Bristol Motor Speedway will remain open through Sunday, January 13.

So come on out to BMS and keep that holiday fun rolling.
