The Johnson Controls Ice Rink, HVAC Chill Hill and AutoTrader.com Speedway In Lights Powered by TVA are closed for the season. On behalf of everyone here at Bristol Motor Speedway and the Bristol Chapter of Speedway Children’s Charities, we offer a tremendous THANK YOU!
We hope you enjoyed our events throughout the holidays. And while we hope you had a fun and enjoyable experience, we want you to know that the proceeds from these events and generated by you, will go a long way to helping a significant number of children throughout the region surrounding Bristol Motor Speedway.
We look forward to seeing you again when our holiday attractions return in November.
After two days of being closed due to winter weather experienced on Friday, Bristol Motor Speedway’s AutoTrader.com Speedway In Lights, the Johnson Controls Ice Rink and HVAC Chill Hill resume their normal schedule today (Sunday, Dec. 20, 2009).

WCYB has teamed up with one of the largest holiday light shows in the country, to bring its on-air news team to Subway Christmas Village in the infield at BMS Thursday evening.

Make your visit to Speedway In Lights complete with a stop in Subway Christmas Village, located in the infield of “The World’s Fastest Half-Mile.”
Subway Christmas Village certainly adds holiday flavor to your drive through the lights with plenty of family fun.
While the 4-plus miles of lights and displays along the drive-through route are spectacular, the stop in the Subway Christmas Village in the infield after taking a lap on the .533-mile oval is equally exciting. Santa himself is there and available for photos and presiding over plenty of fun, like marshmallow roasting and a half-dozen carnival rides.
Along with the rides, a number of food vendors offer great holiday treats like kettle corn and hot chocolate. And if there is holiday shopping to be done, spectators are in luck as several craft merchants provide unique gift selections.
